Morgan appeared in Morgan was featured in a Safe Sex for Men and Women educational video that focused on AIDS prevention and education. Proceeds from the video were donated in part towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is a member of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan also led other fundraising projects, and she also testified on a Congressional panel about AIDS awareness. Morgan is also a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar as well as the Board of Governors of APLA. Former Surgeon-General C. Everett Koop has asked her on occasion to substitute for him during AIDS celebrations and she's hosted an AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell has interviewed her several times on AIDS on Nightline. Morgan is nominated as the Emmy recipient for her role in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written especially for Morgan. Morgan was co-starring in the ABC TV series Your Money or Your Wife alongside Joan Rivers. The summer was kicked off with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The show, Von Zerneck/Sertner also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. After that, she was sent to Luxembourg to film the Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the production. Morgan played the main character in a psychological thriller that was exclusively produced for the USA Network. It received one of the best ratings recorded in network history.
